Panglima Estino is a coastal municipality in the province of Sulu, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM). It has a population of 30,372 as of 2020. Panglima Estino was formerly known as New Panamao. Now, it is named Panglima Estino to honour a local hero who fought against the Spanish colonizers in the late 19th century. He is the founder and leader of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), a rebel group that fought for the autonomy and independence of the Moro people in Mindanao. Panglima Estino offers a glimpse of the beauty and diversity of Sulu. It is a place that has witnessed the challenges and opportunities for peace and development in the region. Panglima Estino Marine Park is a natural attraction that features a coral reef sanctuary that covers an area of 50 hectares. The marine park is home to a variety of fish, turtles, and other marine creatures. The marine park is also a source of livelihood for the local fishermen, who practice sustainable fishing methods. It is a place that ought to be visited and loved by more people. The Tausug and Sama-Bajau are the native inhabitants of Panglima Estino. Some of them live in various places in Sulu. These tribes are distinguished by their different languages, customs, beliefs, and traditions, which reflect their Islamic faith and marine past. They are also famed for their fishing, sailing, pearl diving, weaving, and dancing abilities.

The locals are committed to improving peace and harmony in their community. They wish to involve the youngster in sporting activities. Engaging in sports activities will help them develop discipline. The local team proposed a sports activity with Values Formation for the young tribe members in the community. The main objective is to promote Values Transformation and community development through grassroots sports programs. In each session, the coach will teach the kids about motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge, and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activities for life. The Grassroots program will engage and encourage the youth to excel in sports rather than violent extremism. By engaging young kids in sports, we can help them discover their potential, pursue their dreams, and contribute to society. Through sports, we can help them avoid the traps of hatred, violence, and despair.

This fundraising effort aims to help the kids through grassroots sports programs as a tool for empowerment, education, and social inclusion. Grassroots sports program is a term used to describe the formation of a sports organization that works to train, cultivate, and develop new talent. This initiative aims to build, promote, and grow the sport at the grassroots level in the community. By supporting this initiative, you may transform the lives of 50 Youths in Barangay Pandakan. Through sports and peace, we can help them to become agents of positive change in the world. Your generosity and kindness will serve as a beacon of hope, igniting a passion for learning and empowering them to reach their full potential.
