A remote community in Sultan Kudarat once faced the threat of drinking contaminated water from the streams nearby.

Through the Bayanihan efforts of Barangay Walang Iwanan (BWI.Ph), the community, and the local government unit, a water filtration system was installed to ensure clean drinking water which benefited all in the Barangay.

Mathilde’s story is one of victory and triumph over hunger and poverty.

In the face of desperation, BWI with the help of Gawad Kalinga, NGCP, and the Local Government Unit, created a feeding program that fed hundreds of children from local public schools.
